Of the three peels Skin Medica offers, the Illuminize peel is the most gentle. This peel will provide lightening, brightening and tightening to the skin. It will offer a luminous glow that you would desire for an upcoming event or maybe you just want to reveal more youthful skin. The recovery time for the Illuminize peel is minimal; there is no downtime and no visible peeling. This peel can be repeated every two weeks. For best results, complete a series of three to six Illuminize peels. You will feel a difference after one peel and see a transformation after three or more.

Skin Medica Vitalize Peel
Vitalize Peel is Skin Medica’s most popular chemical peel, it is a wonderful peel and it is suitable for all skin types. This peel produces predictable and noticeable results every time! The Vitalize Peel will target photo-damaged skin, acne, acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles. The recovery time for the Vitalize Peel is approximately three days. Once you receive you Vitalize Peel, your skin starts the peeling process about 48 hours afterward. For best results, complete a series of four to six Vitalize peels and ideally you will want to space the Vitalize Peels about three to four weeks apart for optimal results.

Skin Medica Rejuvenize Peel
The Rejuvenize Peel is the deepest of the Skin Medica peels. The Rejuvenize Peel will penetrate into the epidermis to produce significant results with mild irritation. This peel is indicated to treat moderate to severe skin conditions, including photo damage, fine lines and wrinkles, acne, acne scarring and melasma. Darker skin types require established tolerability to the Vitalize Peel first and then graduate to the Rejuvenize Peel. Typically patients will experience moderate peeling that will start 48 hours after the procedure and will last approximately five days. Fro best results, completing a series of three to six peels is ideal for certain skin types and ideally you will want to space the Rejuvenize Peels about four to six weeks apart.
